About This Class

Our ‘pre-coding’ Grade 1 Module is where our youngest students are introduced to computers and programming with a fun and engaging curriculum of keyboard skills, internet safety, basic coding, & more! Students will work on topics like: Scratch, Twine, navigating the internet, online wellbeing, keyboard & mouse skills & much more.

Important:

• Active parent participation is required for this class (but we hope your input will be minimal!)

• All students will need access to a Windows, Mac or Linux computer. iPads/Tablets/Chromebooks cannot be used for our classes.

Spring Term - 15 Weeks (Jan 2025 - May 2025)

PRICING:

ONE TERM (15 Weeks - Spring Only)

• One class per week: Early Bird - €229/ Regular - €239

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• PC/Mac

• Headphones/earphones

• Mic and webcam (built-in computer mics/webcams are fine)

• Broadband internet connection

CLASS FORMAT:

• Classes use Zoom video calls for communication between students and tutors

• Small class sizes: approx. 6 students per class
